Chiropractic, massage and red light in Burlington
Vitalis is a small practice in Burlington's South End. Two chiropractors and a massage therapist share one building, with a red light room down the hall. Book one kind of care, or call and we will help you pick. None of it replaces your doctor.

Three kinds of care
Each has its own page, its own scope and its own limits.

A chiropractor examines how you move, explains what they find and, if you agree, adjusts your spine and joints by hand. It is not a substitute for medical care.
About chiropractic
A licensed massage therapist works the muscles you choose, at the pressure you ask for, in 30, 60 or 90 minutes. It is not a substitute for medical care.
About massage
Sit in front of a red and near-infrared light panel while you rest. We make no health claims for it, and it is not a substitute for medical care.
About red lightA week at Vitalis
Book chiropractic and massage back to back on the same day, or one at a time. Red light sessions run all day, by appointment.

Your first visit
The front desk greets you by name, a clinician sits down with you before anything else happens, and you decide what happens next.
Arrive five minutes early, with nothing to fill out at home
Your clinician explains each step before it starts
You can stop or say no at any point
Fees are explained before you book

Your clinicians
Six more people keep the building running, and you will meet all of them at the front or behind it.

Explains the plan before the first adjustment and checks in again before each one.

Takes the time to talk through your history and what each part of a visit is for.

Asks about pressure and any areas to avoid, then works at the pace you set.
From visitors
“I booked a massage and ended up seeing Dr. Boone for my shoulders. Having both under one roof made it easy to say yes.”
“Dr. Kanaan explained every step before she did it, and told me which questions belonged with my own doctor.”
“The red light room is quiet and warm, and nobody hovered. I came out of it calm.”
Sample reviews.
No. Many people book one kind and add another later. Your chiropractor or massage therapist will tell you if something is better handled by your own doctor first.
No. None of what we offer is a substitute for medical care, and we send you back to your doctor whenever a question belongs with them.
Whatever is comfortable. Massage is always draped, and the therapist uncovers only the area being worked on.
Yes. The weekly table above shows who is in, and the front desk can line the two up.
Tell us a good time and how to reach you. We call, text or email as you ask.
