Care

Red light

A red light session is a few minutes in front of a panel that gives off red and near-infrared light, while you rest. It is for adults.

We make no health claims for red light. It is a quiet, general wellness service, and it is not a substitute for medical care.

What to expect

  • 01

    What a session includes

    A brief intake, then rest.

    • A few questions about your skin and any medicine you take

    • Eye protection for the whole session

    • You sit or lie in front of the panel in clothing that suits the area, and you can stop whenever you like

    • A quiet room, with the door shut

  • 02

    How long and how often

A session is about 10 to 20 minutes. You choose how often. We do not promise a number of sessions or a result, and the research on red light is still early.

  • 03

    What we do not claim

We do not claim that red light treats, prevents or changes any condition, and results vary. It is not a substitute for medical care.

  • 04

    Ask your doctor first

Ask your doctor before booking if you take medicine that makes your skin sensitive to light, have had skin cancer, have a condition that gets worse in light, or are pregnant.

  • 05

    How it is paid

Red light sessions are paid for by you at the visit. Health plans do not usually pay for them. We tell you the fee before you book.

Questions about red light

Does it hurt?

No. Most people feel gentle warmth. Tell the front desk if anything feels uncomfortable and we stop.

Can I add it to a chiropractic or massage visit?

Yes. Sessions are short, so many people book one before or after another visit.

Is the panel approved for a condition?

We do not use it to treat any condition and make no such claim. Ask us for the panel's maker and model and talk to your doctor about what is right for you.
