Care

Massage

A licensed massage therapist works the muscles you choose, at the pressure you ask for, in a session of 30, 60 or 90 minutes. It is for adults.

Massage here is a relaxing, hands-on service. It is not a substitute for medical care, and it does not diagnose anything.

What to expect

  • 01

    What a session includes

A short talk first, then the session.

    • Kyungmi asks about pressure and any areas to avoid

    • You are draped throughout, and only the area being worked on is uncovered

    • You can ask for lighter or firmer pressure, or stop, at any point

    • Quiet room, no music unless you ask

  • 02

    How long and how often

Sessions are 30, 60 or 90 minutes. You choose how often. There is no plan to sign up for and no number of sessions to complete.

  • 03

    What we do not claim

We do not diagnose, and we do not claim that massage changes any disease or condition. Massage is not a substitute for medical care, and results vary.

  • 04

    Ask your doctor first

Ask your doctor before booking if you have a blood clot, have had surgery or an injury recently, are pregnant, have cancer or take blood thinners. Tell Kyungmi at check-in about anything that has changed since you booked.

  • 05

    How it is paid

Massage is paid for by you at the visit. Most health plans do not pay for it. We tell you the fee before you book, and you can ask for an itemized receipt.

Questions about massage

Can I have a massage the same day as a chiropractic visit?

Yes, and many people do. Book them back to back, or tell the front desk which comes first.

What if I want to talk during the session, or not?

Either. Tell Kyungmi when you check in.

What if I am pregnant?

Tell us when you book and ask your midwife or OB first. We make no claims about pregnancy.
